Why I’ve spent 10 years with the same company
And why, if you lead in network marketing, this should matter more to you than any compensation plan someone shows you this week.
Board of Director
In this industry, almost everyone changes companies every year or two. I chose the opposite: one company, and a whole decade of building on it. It wasn’t blind loyalty. It was a business decision. And it is, by far, the best thing I’ve ever done.
If you’re a leader and you’ve jumped from project to project, you know the real cost: every jump resets your team, your reputation and your energy to zero. You start over. Again. I lived that before I found where to plant my flag, so this isn’t a sermon: it’s what I learned by paying the price.
Where I come fromThe hamster wheel I knew by heart
I’m from Valencia, based in Andorra, with a degree in International Business. But that degree didn’t get me off the wheel: working to pay off debts, paying off debts only to go back to work. I got into direct sales in 2012 because I sensed there was another way to build, one that didn’t depend on trading hours for money for the rest of my life.
In those early years I learned to sell, to speak in public and not to give up. What I still didn’t have was a company worth giving the next decade of my life to.
The turning pointJune 2016: the last company I ever joined
I joined inCruises in June 2016. Not because it promised to make me rich fast —I distrust that as much as you do—, but because when I looked at it through a builder’s eyes, I found the four things a serious leader needs to stay for life. Since then I’ve never gone looking for “the perfect company” again: I stopped searching the day I realized it was already right in front of me.
The real filterWhat a serious leader looks at (and almost nobody tells you)
That organization now has clients in more than 120 countries. But the numbers aren’t why I stayed; they’re the consequence. The compensation plan, in fact, is the last thing I look at: before that, I look at whether the project is built to last. These are the four criteria that made me stay:
Accessible founders
Michael Hutchison and Frank Codina aren’t names in a PDF. They get on stage, show their faces and recognize their people. They’ve recognized me in person.
A duplicable system
Individual talent doesn’t scale; a system does. We work with live and recorded training so that anyone on the team can replicate it, not just the superstars.
A product that stands on its own
A travel membership with real demand. Even if you never built a team, the worst that can happen is you travel for less. That floor changes everything.
Proven longevity
10 years later, it’s still growing in more than 190 countries. I didn’t bet on a trend: I bet on something that will still be here when other projects have disappeared.
Proof, not wordsRecognized on stage by the founders
I’m not asking you to take my word for it. I’m showing you who says it. These are the recognitions that mean the most to me, in the voices of the two people who created the company.
Recognition as Premier Ambassador.
Recognition in the Hall of Fame.
The day it all clickedIn front of 1,900 partners
Speaking in front of 1,900 partners would never have crossed my mind back in my hamster-wheel years. And yet, there I was. What I learned on that stage wasn’t how to speak in public: it was that when a company, a system and a decision sustained over time all line up, the result stops depending on luck. It starts depending on consistency. And consistency is something you do control.
The worst that can happen is you travel for less. The floor no other business gives you
300 videos. 22 cruises. The proof is on record.
I’ve documented every day of my 22 cruises on my channel: more than 300 video blogs showing what this is like from the inside, with no marketing filters. If you want to see the reality before any promise, start there.
Honesty firstWho this is for (and who it isn’t)
I don’t want to convince everyone. I want to work with the right people. So I’ll be straight with you:
You’re a fit if…
You’re not a fit if…
Where I’m headedI’m not where I want to be yet
Today I’m one of the best-positioned inCruises leaders in the world, holding the rank of Premier Ambassador Board of Director —rank 9 of the career plan, two levels above Board of Director—, and to date the youngest person to reach it. But this isn’t the goal: it’s the foundation. I’m going for the company’s top rank, Royal Ambassador Board of Director. Not for the title, but for what it means: that a system built with consistency can enrich the lives of far more people. If this sounds like your own story, let’s talk.
Shall we build something that lasts?
Leave me your details and I’ll write to you personally. No commitment, no canned pitch: an honest conversation about whether this is a fit for you.
