“Board of Director” sounds like a title. In reality it’s the opposite: it’s what’s left when you stop chasing titles and focus on serving a lot of people, for a long time, without giving up.
I’m not telling you this to show off, but because inside this rank there are lessons that work for anyone who wants to build something big. If you understand how you get here, you understand how to build a business that lasts.
What it really isThe circle of top performers
inCruises has 11 leadership ranks. From rank 7, Board of Director, you enter the circle of top-performing partners: the ones who stand out most at building teams, leading and advancing the company’s mission of enriching lives. It isn’t a prize you can buy or a step you inherit: you earn it by sustaining results over time.
I’ve climbed two more steps within that circle: my rank is 9, Premier Ambassador Board of Director, and to date I’m the youngest person to reach it. I say it with pride and with perspective: it isn’t a finish line, it’s a foundation I keep building on.

9 years doing the right thing when nobody’s applauding. The result stopped depending on luck and started depending on repetition.

I’m not done yetThe youngest, on the way to the top rank
Being the youngest Board of Director isn’t the finish line: it’s a sign that I have time ahead of me. My next goal is the company’s top rank, Royal Ambassador Board of Director. And not for the title —by now it should be clear that titles matter little to me—, but for what it represents: that a system built with consistency can enrich the lives of far more people.
